AP Carton Box is seeking a dedicated Electrical Maintenance technician to join our growing team in Rosario, Cavite. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing electrical systems and equipment across our manufacturing facility, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum safety.
You will collaborate closely with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to implement preventive maintenance schedules, conduct inspections, and rapidly respond to equipment failures. Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and emergency electrical maintenance on production machinery, conveyors, and control systems.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults, including wiring, motors, switches, and PLCâcontrolled equipment.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs and maintain detailed maintenance logs.
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, OSHA safety standards, and company safety policies.
- Install, test, and calibrate new electrical equipment and upgrades.
- Coordinate with crossâfunctional teams to schedule downtime and minimize production interruptions.
- Recommend and execute process improvements to enhance equipment reliability and energy efficiency.
Qualifications
- Vocational graduate or certificate in Electromechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical Technology.
- At least 3â5 years of handsâon experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PLC logic.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for AC/DC motors, variable frequency drives, and control circuits.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and safe work practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with effective communication skills.
- Willingness to work shifting schedules and respond to emergencies as needed.
