Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Ensure all work complies with electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members on projects and upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and findings.
- Provide technical support and training to junior technicians when needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Electrical Technician or similar role.
- Solid understanding of electrical principles, wiring, and components.
- Proficiency in using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Possession of relevant electrical certification (e.g., Chargeman license) is an advantage.
- Willingness to work in Simpang Ampat, Penang.
