Job Description

Join SPEEDA ELECTRIC BIKE TRADING as an Electromechanic Technician in Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga. You will install, calibrate, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical systems on our fleet of electric bikes and related equipment, ensuring ride safety and optimal performance for customers.

In this role you will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostic tests, battery health checks, motor controller calibration, wiring inspections, and component replacements. You will troubleshoot electrical faults with multimeters, insulation testers, and other diagnostic tools, and verify repairs through road tests and performance checks.

The role requires meticulous record-keeping, clear communication with service teams and customers, and strict adherence to safety standards. You will also assist with parts sourcing, inventory management, and maintaining a clean, organized workshop.

Responsibilities

  • Install, test, and commission electrical and mechanical systems on SPEEDA electric bikes and related equipment to ensure safe operation and peak performance.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical, battery, and drive components; conduct routine inspections and quality checks.
  • Troubleshoot faults using diagnostic tools (multimeter, insulation testers) and repair or replace faulty components (wiring, connectors, sensors, motor controllers, batteries).
  • Verify repairs with functional tests and road tests; document results and update work orders in the service system.
  • Collaborate with service technicians and engineers to improve reliability, safety, and customer satisfaction; assist in parts sourcing and inventory control.
  • Enforce safety policies, maintain a clean and organized workshop, and ensure compliance with industry standards and company guidelines.
  • Provide timely feedback to customers and internal teams, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Technical degree or diploma in Electromechanics, Electrical/ Mechanical Technology, or a related field; or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in electromechanical maintenance, preferably with electric bikes or small vehicles.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, battery systems, motor controllers, sensors, and mechanical assemblies.
  • Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings; proficient with diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and record-keeping abilities; good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Safety-focused with knowledge of electrical safety standards, PPE usage, and lockout-tagout procedures.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate basic hand and power tools; willingness to work in a dynamic shop environment.
