Responsibilities
- Execute routine preventive maintenance schedules on a variety of manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime.
- Perform rapid troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems when equipment malfunctions occur.
- Collaborate with production operators to ensure equipment is set up correctly for daily production requirements.
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and part replacements accurately in the company maintenance management system.
- Monitor machine performance metrics and implement adjustments to maximize production output and operational efficiency.
- Adhere strictly to workplace safety protocols and ensure a clean, hazard-free working environment.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new production machinery and equipment upgrades.
Qualifications
- Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical components, sensors, and basic electrical control systems.
- Proficiency in reading technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team.
- Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing floor setting, including the ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying potential equipment failures before they occur.
