Integrated Micro-Electronics, Inc. (IMI) is a worldwide leader in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS). We invite a highly competent and dedicated Equipment Technician to ensure the smooth and reliable operation of our power module production lines through top-tier backend assembly and test support in Binan City, Laguna.
In this critical role, you will be the backbone of our production floor, tasked with performing routine preventive maintenance, complex troubleshooting, and precision repair of specialized backend equipment. You will conduct equipment setups and changeovers, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Your day-to-day activities will involve close collaboration with process engineers and production supervisors to rapidly resolve technical issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
We are looking for a technician who does not just fix problems but anticipates them. Your expertise in reading schematics, utilizing diagnostic tools, and understanding of automation systems will be pivotal. You will maintain meticulous records of maintenance logs and spare parts inventory, upholding the stringent 5S and ESD control standards that define our quality-first culture.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of backend assembly and test equipment for power module production.
- Execute equipment setup, changeovers, and process validations to support production schedules.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimize equipment downtime and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Collaborate with process and product engineers to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, spare parts inventory, and equipment logs.
- Support the installation, qualification, and ramp-up of new equipment and processes.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, ESD guidelines, and 5S standards in the work area.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a technical or vocational course in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in equipment maintenance within a semiconductor, electronics, or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of backend assembly processes (die attach, wire bond, molding, singulation) and test handling systems is an advantage.
- Proficient in reading electrical and mechanical schematics and using diagnostic tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes).
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and basic automation systems is a plus.
- Highly analytical with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to work on a shifting schedule in Binan, Laguna.
