Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) on FAB equipment to ensure optimal functionality and minimize unplanned downtime.
- Conduct rapid troubleshooting and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems when equipment failures occur.
- Monitor equipment performance metrics and utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) to identify and rectify abnormalities.
- Assist engineers in equipment installation, qualification, and various upgrade projects to enhance production capabilities.
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs of all maintenance activities, parts replacements, and equipment performance history.
- Strictly adhere to Cleanroom protocols, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) at all times.
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors for specialized equipment support when necessary.
Qualifications
- Diploma or ITE in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related Engineering discipline.
- At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a semiconductor FAB or high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of vacuum systems, RF generators, robotics, or PLC control systems.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, circuit diagrams, and complex equipment manuals.
- Comfortable working in a Cleanroom environment and wearing full-body protective gear (bunny suit).
- Willingness to work on 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Excellent analytical skills and a proactive approach to technical problem-solving.
