Private Advertiser is seeking a highly motivated Executive, Finance & Accounts (F&B) to lead the financial operations of our food & beverage outlets in Kuala Lumpur. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for endâtoâend accounting activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting to support the continued growth of our hospitality brand.
Your dayâtoâday will involve overseeing daily accounting tasks such as invoice processing, sales reconciliation, payments, and monthâend closing. Working closely with operations and procurement teams, you will provide inventory support, helping to control costs and maintain stock integrity across multiple F&B locations. A core part of the job is guaranteeing full adherence to Malaysian tax regulationsâincluding GST, SST, and other statutory requirementsâso that every transaction is compliant and transparent.

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management.
- Perform monthly sales reconciliation, monthâend closing, and preparation of financial statements.
- Provide inventory support and cost control analysis for F&B outlets to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian tax regulations (GST, SST) and coordinate with external tax advisors.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decisionâmaking.
- Develop and maintain internal controls, policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and provide required documentation.
- Generate management reports and adâhoc financial analysis for senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3â5 years of practical accounting experience, preferably within the F&B or hospitality sector.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software such as SAP, MYOB, or QuickBooks.
- Solid understanding of Malaysian tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or MICPA) is advantageous.
