Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile financial accounts for US-based clients using accounting software
- Prepare monthly financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow)
- Process accounts payable/receivable and maintain general ledger accuracy
- Ensure compliance with US tax regulations and assist in tax preparation
- Conduct bank reconciliations and financial analysis
- Support audit processes and documentation requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting discrepancies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of US accounting/bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting platforms
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and tax compliance
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with financial reporting and analysis
