Responsibilities
- Safely operate company trucks, ensuring the secure and timely transportation of safety glass products to various designated locations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, documenting and reporting any mechanical issues or maintenance requirements promptly.
- Assist with the careful loading and unloading of glass products, ensuring proper securing and handling to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, delivery receipts, trip sheets, and other required documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding delivery schedules, potential delays, and specific delivery instructions.
- Ensure the cleanliness and good working condition of the assigned vehicle.
- Represent Swift Safety Glass Corporation with professionalism and excellent customer service during all interactions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver, ideally with a background in transporting fragile goods, construction materials, or similar freight.
- Must possess a valid Professional Driver's License in the Philippines with appropriate restrictions for heavy vehicles (e.g., Restriction 8).
- Demonstrated clean driving record with no significant traffic violations or accidents.
- Strong familiarity with routes and road conditions within Patubig, Bulacan, and adjacent provinces.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, and securing heavy and potentially awkward loads.
- Excellent understanding of vehicle mechanics and safety regulations.
- Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
- Residency in or near Patubig, Bulacan is highly preferred.
