Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive export sales strategy to achieve aggressive revenue targets and expand market share across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and other key territories.
- Identify, recruit, and manage high-performing distributors, agents, and strategic partners to ensure optimal market coverage.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-caliber regional sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct in-depth market intelligence and competitor analysis to uncover new business opportunities and adapt sales tactics.
- Negotiate and close complex international contracts, managing terms, pricing, and conditions to maximize profitability.
- Ensure full compliance with international trade laws, export documentation, and Incoterms regulations across all transactions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to localize promotional materials and implement effective go-to-market strategies.
- Track, analyze, and report on sales performance, forecasting, and market trends to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is highly preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive sales experience in the building materials, construction, or industrial manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of successfully penetrating new international markets and consistently exceeding export sales quotas.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English. Fluency in additional languages (Mandarin, Arabic, or Japanese) is a significant advantage.
- Deep expertise in international trade finance, logistics, documentation (e.g., Letters of Credit, Bills of Lading), and cross-border regulations.
- Strong leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to manage multicultural and geographically distributed teams.
- Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and market insights to drive decision making.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 30-40% of the time to meet clients and explore new markets.
