Responsibilities
- Create comprehensive exterior designs for vehicle products from concept to final implementation
- Develop detailed 2D sketches and 3D models using industry-standard design software
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs are technically feasible and manufacturable
- Conduct research on current design trends, materials, and technologies applicable to automotive exterior design
- Present design concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback into final designs
- Ensure all designs comply with safety regulations and brand guidelines
- Work with prototyping teams to create and evaluate physical models of exterior designs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Automotive Design, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in vehicle exterior design
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar
- Strong portfolio demonstrating innovative exterior design work
- Understanding of automotive manufacturing processes and materials
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
