Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on facility infrastructure and building systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues promptly to minimize operational disruption.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized facility repairs and major upgrades.
- Monitor energy consumption and perform system calibrations to optimize facility efficiency.
- Maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
- Adhere strictly to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) guidelines and environmental standards.
- Support building management in facility improvement projects and infrastructure installations.
- Respond to emergency breakdown calls and perform rapid-response troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- Nitec, Higher Nitec, or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facility Management.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in facility maintenance or industrial environments.
- Strong understanding of electrical/mechanical building systems and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and circuit diagrams.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools for general repairs.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Flexibility to perform shift work or attend to urgent matters outside of standard hours if required.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and incident prevention.
