Yayasan Daur Pangan Nusantara is seeking a passionate and visionary Farm & Circular Operation Manager to lead our sustainable agricultural and waste management initiatives in Kabupaten Tangerang. In this pivotal role, you will be the heartbeat of our circular economy operations, bridging the gap between innovative waste processing and productive agricultural output.
You will oversee our sophisticated composting machinery, manage our Black Soldier Fly (BSF) larvae production facility, and supervise daily horticultural and poultry farming activities. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who is not only technically proficient in waste management systems but is also deeply committed to community engagement, environmental stewardship, and regenerative farming practices. You will act as a key facilitator for our volunteer programs, ensuring our operations are both highly efficient and socially impactful.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize end-to-end circular economy operations, including industrial composting and BSF larvae production.
- Oversee daily horticultural production cycles and poultry farming operations to ensure health and yield targets.
- Implement and maintain rigorous waste management protocols to ensure environmental compliance and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to streamline resource recovery workflows.
- Act as a lead facilitator for volunteer programs, providing guidance, training, and supervision to support staff and participants.
- Monitor machinery performance and coordinate preventative maintenance schedules for composting equipment.
- Analyze operational data to track output quality and propose sustainable improvements for farm productivity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Environmental Engineering, Animal Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in agricultural management or large-scale waste management operations.
- Strong technical knowledge of BSF farming and large-scale composting processes.
- Proven ability to manage livestock (poultry) and horticultural crop cycles efficiently.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams or volunteer groups.
- Effective communication skills and a passion for environmental sustainability and community empowerment.
- Proficiency in operational reporting and basic farm/facility project management.
