Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and general ledger reporting.
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable support.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and verify the accuracy of transaction records.
- Support internal and external audit processes by preparing required schedules and documentation.
- Assist in tax compliance tasks and the filing of statutory requirements.
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic financial records.
- Analyze expense reports and assist in variance analysis.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelorβs Degree program in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, financial terminology, and GAAP.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new software and internal processes.
