Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day finance and accounting tasks, including data entry for accounts payable/receivable.
- Process invoices, expense claims, and vendor statements with accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile bank statements and ledgers; support month-end closing activities.
- Support budgeting and forecasting data collection for operational planning.
- Maintain and update vendor and customer records in the ERP system.
- Assist with financial reporting, variance analysis, and audit preparation.
- Contribute to internal controls and compliance documentation, ensuring data integrity.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or a recent graduate seeking hands-on experience.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems is a plus.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities; able to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proactive, reliable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Basic understanding of Malaysian tax concepts (GST/VAT) and financial compliance is beneficial.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Malay is an advantage.
