Join EMAPTA as a Finance and HR Operations Manager and lead end-to-end financial and people operations for a high-growth global business. This role is based in Metro Manila with a flexible work-from-home arrangement and a schedule that respects weekends off. You will partner with global stakeholders to drive accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across finance and HR functions, enabling sustainable performance and strategic decision making.
As a key leader, you will own the hands-on management of accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting, and internal controls. You will oversee HR operations including onboarding, benefits administration, payroll integrations, timekeeping, and vendor management for a diverse workforce. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, implement scalable systems, and ensure timely, accurate reporting.

Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end finance operations including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, budgeting and financial reporting for a global organization.
- Oversee HR operations such as onboarding, benefits administration, payroll integrations, timekeeping, and employee data management to ensure accurate and timely people processes.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial controls; monitor variances and provide strategic insights to senior leadership.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with Philippine labor laws, tax requirements, and financial reporting standards; coordinate internal and external audits.
- Implement and optimize ERP and HRIS systems; drive process improvements to increase efficiency and data integrity.
- Manage vendor relationships, including benefits providers, payroll processors, and financial service partners; negotiate contracts to maximize value.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across regions to support growth initiatives and maintain consistent financial and HR operations.
- Lead risk management, control activities, and governance to safeguard company assets and ensure data privacy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field; professional certification such as CPA or SHRM is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in finance and HR operations with leadership responsibilities; remote or distributed team leadership is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, payroll processing, taxation, GAAP or IFRS; experience with ERP/HRIS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday).
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills; ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
- Proficiency with MS Office and accounting software; ability to implement and optimize processes and controls.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment; strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail; customer service mindset for internal clients.
- Fluency in English; ability to collaborate effectively with international teams and stakeholders.
