Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end financial reporting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery and optimized shipping costs.
- Implement and manage automated financial and inventory tracking systems to reduce manual entry errors.
- Analyze logistical data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports for management.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile stock levels against financial data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI-driven solutions into daily operational workflows.
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and tax requirements in Malaysia.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a combined finance and logistics or operations role.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in implementing automation tools or AI-driven business systems.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex logistical and financial data.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively between departments.
- Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Working knowledge of Malaysian GST/SST compliance and local shipping regulations.
