Responsibilities
- Oversee daily finance operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger management
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements, budgets, and variance reports
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies
- Lead finance team performance through mentorship, training, and process optimization
- Manage banking relationships, cash flow forecasting, and working capital initiatives
- Coordinate external audits and implement corrective actions for financial control gaps
- Develop financial models to support strategic decision-making and business planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's or CPA/ACCA preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of progressive finance experience with team leadership
- Deep knowledge of Malaysian financial reporting standards (MFRS) and tax regulations
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Proven experience in process improvement and financial control implementation
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder collaboration and reporting
