Responsibilities
- Assist in day-to-day finance operations, including data entry and documentation.
- Support the finance team in month-end closing activities and report preparation.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Monitor and track expenses against budgets to maintain financial discipline.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit schedules.
- Handle filing, record-keeping, and administrative financial support tasks.
- Communicate with internal departments to track purchase orders and invoices.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive financial information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Malay.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- A proactive attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow within the finance sector.
