Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the full spectrum of daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with MFRS/IFRS.
- Ensure robust financial reporting and compliance within the regulated digital asset framework.
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and capital requirements to support ongoing business operations.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure timely submissions.
- Develop and implement internal controls and standard operating procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Provide strategic financial analysis and variance reporting to senior management for informed decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related professional discipline.
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or MIA is highly mandatory.
- At least 5-8 years of post-qualification experience, preferably within FinTech or Financial Services.
- Strong understanding of Malaysian financial regulations and international accounting standards.
- Proven ability to manage complex financial data and reporting in a high-growth environment.
- Excellent leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing finance teams.
- High level of integrity and experience working within a regulated or audited environment.
