Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the entire Group financial operations, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
- Manage group treasury functions, optimizing cash flow management and maintaining banking relationships.
- Coordinate the annual budgeting and regular forecasting processes, providing variance analysis to senior management.
- Ensure full compliance with local tax regulations, including Corporate Tax and SST filing and planning.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal control systems and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies to ensure statutory compliance and timely reporting.
- Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to support business expansion and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or MIA membership).
- Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in financial management, preferably within a group or corporate setting.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and local statutory requirements.
- Proven experience in handling group consolidation and complex financial structures.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a finance team.
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy.
