Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily financial operations and ensure the accuracy of all financial records and reports.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
- Manage the budgeting process, including forecasting, variance analysis, and strategic planning.
- Ensure full compliance with Malaysian tax laws, financial regulations, and internal controls.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure optimal performance and professional growth.
- Manage cash flow, treasury operations, and banking relationships.
- Conduct financial audits and implement improvements to internal processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or MICPA is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance management role, preferably within a venture capital or corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
