PRORIDE AUTO SUSPENSION MALAYSIA Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the finance function across its operations in Klang/Port Klang. The successful candidate will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, and compliance, ensuring accurate and timely financial information to support strategic decision-making. You will partner with senior management, drive process improvements, and maintain strong internal controls while managing a team of finance professionals. In this position, you will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts, coordinating audits, and liaising with external stakeholders such as banks, tax authorities, and investors. Your analytical skills will be essential in identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing working capital. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong leadership qualities, and possess a deep understanding of Malaysian financial regulations and reporting standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with MFRS.
- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and treasury activities to ensure optimal liquidity.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insightful variance analysis to senior management.
- Ensure timely completion of balance sheet reconciliations, inter‑company eliminations, and statutory filings.
- Supervise accounts payable, receivable, and payroll functions, driving efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls, risk management frameworks, and audit readiness.
- Provide financial guidance on capital expenditure, pricing strategies, and cost‑optimization initiatives.
- Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and tax regulations.
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and treasury management.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel.
- Leadership experience with a track record of building and mentoring high‑performing teams.
