Responsibilities

  • Manage full-set accounts, including month-end closing, financial reporting, and consolidation for multiple project entities.
  • Oversee Work-in-Progress (WIP) accounting, ensuring accurate recognition of revenue and cost accruals for ongoing construction contracts.
  • Prepare comprehensive management reports, budget forecasts, and cash flow projections to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with project managers to monitor project budgets, cost variances, and profitability analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal audit requirements.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretarial firms for annual filings.
  • Implement and improve financial processes to increase efficiency and data accuracy within the finance department.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in financial management, with at least 3 years specifically within the Construction or Engineering industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in WIP accounting and financial consolidation is essential.
