Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the accounts receivable process to ensure timely collection and minimize bad debt
- Implement and maintain effective credit control policies and procedures
- Manage utility payables, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including cash flow statements and aging reports
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial discrepancies and improve processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Lead and develop the finance team, providing guidance and mentorship
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement cost-saving measures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or CIMA
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance management, with a focus on receivables and payables
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws in Malaysia
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing a finance team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
