Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities with accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards (PFRS/IFRS), and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to improve financial performance.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and adjustments.
- Support internal and external audit engagements by preparing schedules and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and enhance reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA is a plus).
- At least 2–5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Filipino.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of Philippine tax laws and BIR compliance is an advantage.
