Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, ledgers, and journals in compliance with company policies.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including invoice verification, data entry, and payment reconciliation.
- Prepare and perform bank reconciliations regularly, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
- Support the preparation of financial reports and statements by gathering, summarizing, and presenting financial data.
- Facilitate year-end audit preparations by providing necessary documentation, schedules, and information to auditors.
- Ensure timely and accurate remittance of government-mandated contributions (e.g., SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) and taxes (e.g., withholding tax).
- Assist with general administrative tasks within the finance department, including filing, archiving, and responding to inquiries.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and adherence to internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, or a related business field.
- Proven experience (0-2 years) in a financial or accounting support role is preferred; fresh graduates with strong academic records are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all financial tasks.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, capable of handling multiple tasks and meeting strict deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate financial information clearly.
