Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and targets on a daily and monthly basis.
- Prepare and review complex financial reports, reconciliations, and variance analyses for management review.
- Ensure strict adherence to internal controls, policies, and regulatory compliance standards within the Ex-Markets space.
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance operational effectiveness and data accuracy.
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing clear documentation and explanations of financial records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure seamless delivery of financial information.
- Conduct regular reviews of financial systems to mitigate risks and ensure data integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field of study.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience in financial control, audit, or a similar analytical role.
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and internal controls.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
