Indolakto, a leading dairy producer in Indonesia, is seeking a dedicated FMDS Field Staff to join our team in Pasuruan, Jawa Timur. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with milk suppliers to ensure consistent supply and quality.
- Conduct regular field visits to farms and collection points to assess hygiene, handling, and milk quality practices.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance against established Fresh Milk Development Standards (FMDS).
- Identify deviations, initiate corrective and preventive actions, and track their effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal quality and production teams to translate field findings into process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and supplier communications using company systems.
- Provide training and guidance to suppliers on best practices for milk handling, storage, and transportation.
- Support continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing overall milk quality and safety.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in supplier management, quality assurance, or field operations within the dairy or food industry.
- Strong knowledge of milk quality parameters, food safety standards (e.g., SNI, ISO 22000), and Good Agricultural Practices (GAP).
- Proficiency in conducting audits, inspections, and data analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective supplier engagement.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and travel frequently within the region.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with ERP systems such as SAP is a plus.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
