As our Full Set Accountant, you will be the key financial steward of our business, responsible for the complete and accurate management of our financial operations. Your key responsibilities will encompass the entire accounting cycle, transforming daily transactions into powerful financial narratives. You will ensure rigorous cost control across our F&B outlets, meticulously monitor inventory and supplies, and drive profitability through insightful reporting and variance analysis. Furthermore, you will take the lead on all compliance and governance matters, including SST, corporate tax, and statutory audits, ensuring we adhere to the highest standards of financial integrity and regulatory adherence in Malaysia.

Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the full set of accounts (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger).
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management accounts.
- Implement and monitor cost control measures for F&B operations, including food, beverage, and supply costs.
- Ensure full compliance with Malaysian tax laws (SST, Corporate Tax, Withholding Tax) and statutory requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and company secretaries.
- Handle cash flow management, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
- Supervise junior accounting staff and oversee daily accounting operations.
- Utilize Chinese language skills (Mandarin/Cantonese) to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking suppliers, partners, and internal teams.
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CPA).
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience managing a full set of accounts.
- Prior experience in the F&B, hospitality, or retail industry is highly preferred.
- Proficient in accounting software (SQL, AutoCount, Xero, QuickBooks) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of MFRS and MPERS standards.
- Excellent command of both English and Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) to handle bilingual transactions and communications.
- Highly detail-oriented, independent, and capable of working under tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a continuous improvement mindset.
