Job Description
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking General Construction Worker to join our team in Tai Seng. As an essential member of our construction crew, you will support various on-site tasks to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a valid BCA Construction Safety Course (CSC) certificate and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
You will work alongside experienced supervisors and tradespeople, assisting with material handling, site preparation, basic demolition, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Responsibilities
- Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials and equipment
- Prepare and clean construction sites, including removing debris and hazardous materials
- Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians) as directed
- Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision
- Perform manual tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying heavy items
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment at all times
- Set up and dismantle scaffolding, barricades, and temporary structures
- Report any safety hazards, incidents, or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor
Qualifications
- Valid BCA Construction Safety Course (CSC) certificate (mandatory)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in general construction or related labour roles preferred
- Physically fit and able to perform strenuous manual labour in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of workplace safety practices and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Good communication skills (English) to understand safety briefings and task instructions
- Own transport or ability to commute to Tai Seng worksite daily
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends when required
