Responsibilities
- Execute and manage the end-to-end month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Perform detailed general ledger reconciliations and verify the accuracy of financial transactions.
- Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports in accordance with IFRS/GAAP.
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, ensuring all discrepancies are identified and resolved.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Analyze financial variances and provide meaningful insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial policies and internal controls are adhered to.
- Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives to drive efficiency within the finance department.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ACCA/CPA/CIMA qualification is a plus).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in General Ledger accounting, preferably within an MNC environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of local accounting standards and IFRS.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Advanced analytical skills with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Fluent in English and local languages, both written and verbal.
