PT Arnawarma Mineral Jaya is seeking a motivated Geology Intern to support our exploration programs in Jakarta. This paid internship offers hands-on experience under the mentorship of seasoned geologists actively shaping mineral discoveries. You'll work on real field and office tasks that bridge academic knowledge with industry practice.
In this role, you will participate in field activities, assist in sample collection, logging, and data entry, and contribute to geological mapping and interpretation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to help develop geological models that support drilling programs and resource estimation. This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates aiming to build a career in mining exploration in Indonesia.

Responsibilities
- Assist senior geologists in field reconnaissance, sample collection, logging, and documentation
- Support core logging, stratigraphic analysis, and geologic mapping
- Enter and organize geological data into project databases and reports
- Participate in GIS-based analyses and map production
- Support drilling programs by preparing field cards and tracking samples
- Coordinate field logistics, safety checks, and equipment maintenance
- Assist with report drafting and presentation materials for project teams
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure data quality and project alignment
Qualifications
- Active enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Geology, Earth Science, Mining Engineering, or related field
- Strong interest in mineral exploration and mining industries
- Foundational knowledge of geology concepts, rock types, mapping, and data interpretation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS) is a plus
- Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities; ability to work in cross-functional environments
- Willingness to work in Jakarta and on-site as needed; able to travel to field sites if required
- English proficiency; Indonesian language skills are an advantage
