Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and comprehensive inspections on heavy machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical system faults accurately.
- Execute preventive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Conduct overhauls on engines and replace worn-out components as necessary.
- Ensure all repair work complies with company safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate service records, repair logs, and parts inventory documentation.
- Communicate technical findings and recommendations to management clearly.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid certification or diploma in Heavy Equipment Mechanics or Automotive Technology.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment.
- Strong working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and transmissions.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Valid Driver’s License (Class A or equivalent).
- Physically fit and capable of working in outdoor conditions and various weather types.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to workplace safety.
