Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor IETS equipment to ensure optimal performance and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and calibration of treatment system components.
- Diagnose and resolve operational faults, performing corrective actions promptly.
- Collect and analyze effluent samples, maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Assist in the optimization of chemical dosing and process parameters to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in effluent treatment.
Qualifications
- Certificate or Diploma in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience operating IETS or similar wastewater treatment systems.
- Strong understanding of effluent treatment processes, chemical dosing, and sludge handling.
- Proficiency in using testing equipment and interpreting analytical data.
- Knowledge of local environmental regulations (DOE) and compliance requirements.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a methodical approach to problem‑solving.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
- Good communication skills and basic computer literacy (MS Office, data logging).
