Responsibilities
- Perform precise alterations and repairs on a variety of garments to ensure perfect fit and finish.
- Execute high-quality sewing techniques, including machine and hand-stitching, to meet production deadlines.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure prototypes meet technical specifications before mass production.
- Manage the maintenance and upkeep of industrial sewing machines and related tailoring equipment.
- Maintain an organized workspace to manage materials, fabric remnants, and finished goods efficiently.
- Perform quality control inspections on all completed items to ensure adherence to brand standards.
- Provide expert advice on fabric selection, drape, and garment construction methods.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience as a Tailor or Seamstress in a professional or retail environment.
- Expertise in operating industrial sewing machines, sergers, and other garment construction equipment.
- Deep understanding of garment construction, pattern modification, and fitting techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical sketches and measurement charts accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with delicate and diverse fabric types.
- Good command of Indonesian; English communication skills are considered an advantage.
- Able to work effectively under pressure to meet tight production timelines.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple small-scale projects simultaneously.
