In this crucial hands-on role, you will be the front line of defense for our electrical infrastructure. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve the installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex industrial electrical systems. This includes handling power distribution panels, three-phase motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and comprehensive lighting and safety systems across diverse facilities, including irrigation pump stations and maintenance buildings.
We are seeking an individual who possesses a deep understanding of the Philippine Electrical Code, industrial safety protocols, and advanced diagnostic techniques. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics with precision. Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial electrical equipment, including motors, generators, transformers, switchgears, and control panels.
- Install, maintain, and calibrate instrumentation and control systems, such as PLCs, VFDs, and SCADA components used in water treatment and irrigation systems.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, one-line diagrams, and technical manuals to diagnose faults and perform new installations accurately.
- Execute wiring, conduit bending, and termination for high-voltage (480V/3-phase) and low-voltage electrical systems following the Philippine Electrical Code.
- Maintain and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings, clubhouses, and external lighting for the golf course and common areas.
- Respond promptly to electrical emergencies, outages, and equipment failures, implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts, tools, and testing equipment, and ensure proper documentation of completed work orders.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and regulatory compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Graduate of Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology (Electrical major), or a related vocational course.
- Must be a Registered Master Electrician (RME) or possess a valid Philippine Electrical Engineering license (REE/RME is an advantage).
- Proven work experience (minimum 3-5 years) as an Industrial Electrician, preferably within a golf course, resort, hospitality, or heavy industrial environment.
- Advanced knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motor controls, and power distribution (up to 480V).
- Proficiency in troubleshooting PLC-based systems and automated controls is highly desirable.
- Strong ability to read and comprehend technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as required by operational needs.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative maintenance team.
- Physically fit to perform demanding tasks, including lifting heavy equipment, climbing ladders, and working in various outdoor and indoor conditions.
