Join Forte Employment Services as an Injection Molding Technician in Tuas, West Region. This is a full time role supporting high volume plastics production, operating and maintaining state of the art injection molding equipment to deliver consistent, high quality parts for diverse industries.
You will collaborate with engineers and the manufacturing team to optimize cycle times, adjust process parameters, and ensure safety and cleanliness on the shop floor. You will read process instructions, set up molds, and verify machine readiness before start up. Attention to detail is essential for defect detection and quality assurance in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Operate, load, and monitor injection molding machines to produce consistent parts according to process documentation.
- Set up molds, calibrate temperatures, pressures, shot sizes, and cycle times.
- Inspect molded parts for defects; perform first article inspections and routine quality checks.
- Perform routine equipment adjustments and preventive maintenance per schedule; report abnormal wear or issues.
- Document production data, yield, scrap, and downtime; assist with root cause analysis and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety, 5S, and GMP guidelines; maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to optimize processes and reduce waste.
- Troubleshoot basic machine faults; coordinate with maintenance for unresolved issues.
Qualifications
- Experience in injection molding or plastics processing; familiarity with plastics materials is a plus.
- Ability to read process instructions, specifications, and basic blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills; good hand eye coordination.
- Basic math and measurement skills; ability to perform simple statistical checks.
- Ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment; physically able to stand for long periods and handle light lifting.
- Team oriented with good communication and willingness to learn.
- Diploma or technical certificate in plastics technology, manufacturing, or related field preferred; relevant hands on experience accepted.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with production data entry systems is a plus.
