Responsibilities
- Develop original interior design concepts that meet client objectives, budget, and timeline.
- Create detailed drawings, 3D models, and mood boards using industry‑standard software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Select and specify materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures, ensuring quality and compliance with building codes.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, tracking progress, budgets, and schedules.
- Present design proposals to clients and stakeholders, incorporate feedback, and refine solutions.
- Stay current with design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in interior design.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven portfolio demonstrating a range of residential and commercial interior projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Strong understanding of spatial planning, color theory, and material selection.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence.
- Detail‑oriented with a passion for aesthetic excellence and functional design.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.
- Experience with Singapore BCA regulations and building codes is a plus.
