Digital8 Inc. is seeking a motivated Intern for Accounting, Finance, and Business Administration to join our dynamic media and advertising team in Mandaluyong City. This hands-on program is designed to give you real-world exposure to financial operations, procurement processes, and administrative support. You will collaborate with accountants, procurement specialists, and department leaders to learn best practices, deliver accurate data, and contribute to timely financial reporting.
As a valued member of our team, you will:
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable data entry and reconciliation with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Support procurement activities, including purchase orders, vendor onboarding, and invoice matching.
- Help prepare basic financial reports and assist with month-end close tasks.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing for accounting records and documentation.
- Assist with budgeting and expense tracking for department projects.
- Support internal controls and audit readiness through accurate record-keeping.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and data quality.

Responsibilities

Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong numerical ability with high attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Excel; familiarity with Google Sheets a plus.
- Basic knowledge of accounting software or ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is beneficial.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Able to manage time effectively and handle multiple priorities.
- Available to commit to a 3-6 month internship; flexible scheduling may be considered.
