Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements under the supervision of senior accountants.
- Support the audit team in planning, executing, and documenting audit engagements for a variety of clients.
- Help with tax return preparation, filing, and compliance checks for corporate and individual clients.
- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks including data entry, document filing, and client correspondence.
- Participate in monthly closing processes, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Conduct research on accounting standards, tax regulations, and business best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
- Attend training sessions and team meetings to enhance technical knowledge and professional skills.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong academic record with a keen interest in audit, tax, or financial services.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (knowledge of Bahasa Malaysia is a plus).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount) is an advantage.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks with accuracy.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn in a fast-paced professional environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and maintain a positive, proactive attitude.
- Available for a minimum internship period of 3 months (full-time or flexible schedule).
