Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line and second-line technical support for Java-based software applications, ensuring timely resolution of user-reported issues.
  • Perform detailed analysis of software application functionality to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems under the supervision of the Senior Engineer.
  • Document all support activities, troubleshooting steps, and solutions in the central knowledge base and ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with the development team to report software bugs, provide feedback for enhancements, and participate in system testing during release cycles.
  • Monitor application performance and system logs to proactively identify potential issues and ensure high availability.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and FAQ materials to improve self-service capabilities.
  • Assist in the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of application environments (development, staging, and production).
  • Participate in on-call rotation for critical incident management and after-hours support when required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in software application support or as a Java Developer (minimum 1-2 years).
  • Strong proficiency in Java programming and familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Solid understanding of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ability to write complex SQL queries.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Indonesian.
  • Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
