Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting regular internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
- Perform detailed verification of financial statements, ledger entries, and expense reports for accuracy.
- Conduct physical inventory counts and warehouse audits to reconcile actual stock against system records.
- Identify and document internal control weaknesses and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Prepare clear and concise audit workpapers and preliminary reports for senior management review.
- Collaborate with various departments to monitor the implementation of audit recommendations.
- Support external audit activities and assist in the preparation of tax compliance documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Accounting, or Management Accounting is required.
- Holding a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a significant advantage.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and auditing standards.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting.
- Ability to work with integrity and maintain high levels of confidentiality.
