You will be responsible for managing day-to-day vessel operations, coordinating complex port calls, and overseeing the entire cargo handling process. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage daily vessel operations and port calls to ensure timely departures and arrivals.
- Oversee cargo handling procedures, ensuring safety, accuracy, and timely delivery.
- Prepare and manage all necessary shipping documentation, including bills of lading and shipping manifests.
- Liaise effectively with customers, vessel owners, and port authorities to resolve operational issues.
- Monitor shipment status and update stakeholders regarding logistics progress.
- Ensure strict compliance with local and international shipping regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of operational activities and cargo movements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with 1-2 years of experience in shipping or logistics.
- Strong understanding of shipping documentation, customs procedures, and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and logistics management software.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced shipping environment.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
