Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting statutory audits for various clients across different industries.
- Prepare and compute tax computations for corporate and individual clients.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with MFRS and relevant tax regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit working papers.
- Liaise with clients to gather necessary information for audit and tax purposes.
- Identify and report any financial discrepancies or internal control weaknesses.
- Stay updated on the latest accounting standards and changes in Malaysian tax laws.
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
- Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, MICPA) or progress towards such qualifications is a strong advantage.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Strong analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; prior experience in an audit firm is a plus for senior applicants.
