Your day-to-day will involve preparing ingredients, maintaining a clean work station, assisting in cooking, and ensuring that every dish meets our standards. You'll work closely with the chef and other team members to keep the kitchen running smoothly during busy hours.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and chop ingredients (vegetables, meats, sauces) according to recipes and station needs
- Assist in cooking, grilling, frying, and plating dishes under the guidance of the head chef
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes and utensils
- Monitor stock levels and inform the supervisor when supplies run low
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Support team members during peak hours to ensure timely service
- Help with receiving and storing deliveries in proper conditions
- Follow instructions from senior kitchen staff and contribute to a positive team atmosphere
Qualifications
- No formal education required; training will be provided
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety practices
- Able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks (lifting up to 15 kg)
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not mandatory
- Available to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
