Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of agricultural machinery, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize operational output.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical failures promptly and effectively.
- Maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts inventory.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with operations teams to identify efficiency improvements in equipment usage.
- Support the installation and commissioning of new agricultural equipment and systems.
Qualifications
- Vocational diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of proven experience in industrial or agricultural maintenance.
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Solid understanding of workplace safety regulations (OSHA standards or local equivalent).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, to support agricultural operations.
