Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
- Install, calibrate, and qualify new tools and subsystems according to manufacturer specifications.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment faults, minimizing downtime through rapid root‑cause analysis.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports in compliance with ISO and internal standards.
- Collaborate with process engineers to optimize equipment performance and support yield improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, including lockout/tagout, PPE usage, and hazardous material handling.
- Participate in shift handovers, ensuring clear communication of equipment status and pending actions.
- Support continuous improvement projects by providing feedback on maintenance procedures and spare part management.
Qualifications
- Minimum Nitec or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience).
- Basic understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work methodically under pressure.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities, comfortable working in a multicultural shift environment.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning.
- Basic computer literacy for maintaining digital maintenance records (CMMS experience advantageous).
