Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on building systems including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot technical issues in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards or equipment failures.
- Carry out minor repairs, including carpentry, painting, and fixture installations.
- Coordinate with vendors and third-party contractors for specialized maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and materials used.
- Ensure compliance with all occupational health and safety regulations at all times.
- Assist the facilities team in emergency response procedures and building system shutdowns.
Qualifications
- Vocational diploma or certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Technology preferred.
- At least 1-2 years of proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems, electrical troubleshooting, and general repairs.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and schematic diagrams.
- Physical capability to handle heavy lifting and work in varying environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide high-quality customer service.
- Proficiency in using common hand and power tools safely.
- Willingness to work on shifts or during weekends as required by property operations.
