Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and variance analysis.
- Conduct in-depth financial and operational analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders and senior management.
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process, working with department heads to ensure realistic and achievable targets.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, highlighting deviations and recommending corrective actions.
- Coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (MFRS/IFRS) and statutory requirements.
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to support strategic business decisions and investment evaluations.
- Assist in the implementation and improvement of internal controls and financial reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Minimum 4–6 years of relevant experience in management accounting, financial analysis, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards (MFRS/IFRS), and internal controls.
- Proficient in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Dynamics); advanced Excel skills are essential.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
